CryptoRefills solves the problem this whole directory keeps running into: almost nowhere takes stablecoins, so most spending happens through an intermediary. It has been doing that from Amsterdam since 2018, and it now covers hotels as well as the gift cards it is better known for.

The widest stablecoin list in travel

Six of the coins we track — USDT, USDC, DAI, EURC, PYUSD and FDUSD — across seven networks including Tron, Base, Solana and Avalanche.

Two of those are genuinely rare. PYUSD appears at a handful of merchants in this entire directory; FDUSD at essentially none until now. If you hold either and have struggled to spend it, this is the place.

It also accepts USDC.e and USDT.e, the bridged variants, as distinct assets. That is more careful than most checkouts manage, and it is also a trap worth naming: bridged USDC on Avalanche is not native USDC, the two are not interchangeable, and picking the wrong one is the usual wrong-network mistake wearing a different hat. What you are buying when you book a stay

The stays product searches live hotel inventory and confirms in real time — this is a working booking engine, not a gift card with a hotel picture on it.

It is, however, an aggregator. The inventory comes from third-party suppliers, so your contract is with CryptoRefills and its supplier rather than with the hotel’s front desk. That distinction does not matter until something goes wrong, at which point it matters a great deal: cancellation terms, amendment fees and who you call about a room that was not held are all determined further up a chain you cannot see.

Combined with an irreversible payment, that argues for checking the cancellation policy before you pay rather than after — advice we give on every travel record here, and which applies with particular force to intermediated inventory.

Why we are comfortable listing it

A directory that vouches for merchants should say what due diligence it actually did.

CryptoRefills is CryptoRefills B.V., KvK 63338149, VAT NL855193062B01, registered on Keizersgracht in Amsterdam. It publishes terms of service, a privacy policy, an about page and a contact route. The domain dates from 2018.

That is an ordinary, identifiable European company, and it is worth stating because the alternative exists. While researching hotels for this directory we found a crypto booking site with three million properties, aggressive “no KYC, anonymous booking” marketing, an aged domain that changed hands last year — and no terms, no privacy policy, no contact page and no company name anywhere on the site. It is not in this directory and will not be. Taking irreversible payment for a hotel room six months out, with no identifiable counterparty and no published terms, is not a payment method; it is a risk with a booking form attached.
