Privacy Policy
We collect as little as we can and tell you what that is.
Last updated
This policy explains what StablecoinSpend collects and what we do with it. It is written to be read rather than to be defensible, and we have tried to keep the site’s data collection small enough that the policy can be short.
This is a template policy provided with the site. Before launch it must be reviewed by a qualified adviser and updated to reflect the operator’s actual legal entity, jurisdiction, analytics configuration and processors.
What we collect
Nothing that identifies you, by default. Browsing the directory requires no account, no cookie consent banner in most configurations, and no personal data.
Analytics, if enabled. The site supports privacy-respecting analytics that measure page views and referrers in aggregate. Which provider is active depends on this deployment’s configuration; no tracking is loaded at all unless a provider is configured. Where we use Google Analytics, IP anonymisation is enabled.
Newsletter signups. If you subscribe, we collect your email address to send you the newsletter. Nothing else.
Merchant submissions. If you submit a business, we collect what you enter in the form: business name, website, contact email, and the payment details you supply. We use it to assess and, if appropriate, publish the listing, and to contact you about it.
Contact messages. If you email us, we have your email and whatever you wrote.
What we do not collect
We do not collect wallet addresses. We do not connect wallets. We do not fingerprint visitors, build advertising profiles, or sell data to anyone.
Cookies
The site itself sets no tracking cookies. Where analytics are enabled, the provider may set a cookie or use cookieless measurement depending on which provider is configured.
Your browser may store small amounts of local data for interface preferences. That never leaves your device and we cannot read it.
Third parties
Depending on configuration, this deployment may use: an analytics provider, an email service provider for the newsletter, a form backend for merchant submissions, and a hosting provider that keeps standard server logs.
Each has its own privacy policy. We choose providers with reasonable data practices and share the minimum necessary.
Outbound links to merchants and providers are subject to those sites’ own policies, which we do not control.
How long we keep things
Newsletter subscriptions: until you unsubscribe. Merchant submissions: while the listing is maintained, plus a reasonable period for records. Contact messages: as long as needed to deal with the matter. Analytics: per the provider’s retention settings, in aggregate.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or export your personal data, to object to processing, and to complain to a supervisory authority.
To exercise any of them, contact us. We will respond within the timeframe your law requires and, where it does not specify one, within 30 days.
Unsubscribing from the newsletter takes one click on any email.
Children
This site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.
Changes
We will update this page and change the date at the top when the policy changes. Material changes affecting newsletter subscribers will be sent by email.
