Travorio's stablecoin page is unusually specific for a travel site: USDT on Ethereum and Tron, USDC on Ethereum, Polygon and Solana, DAI on Ethereum. That per-network detail is exactly what most merchants in this directory fail to publish, and it is genuinely useful. Two caveats pull the other way. The same page still lists BUSD, which Paxos was ordered to stop issuing in February 2023 — a page maintained against reality would not, so treat the rest of it as indicative rather than confirmed. And Travorio publishes no registered company name, jurisdiction or address; the about page names a founder and a launch year, and the only contact route is an email address. For a small booking that is a normal amount of risk. For an expensive itinerary paid irreversibly months in advance, it is worth weighing.

The good part
Its stablecoin page lists assets by network:

That is better documentation than Travala publishes, better than Trip.com publishes, and better than the great majority of merchants in this directory of any category. Per-network detail is precisely what prevents the wrong-chain transfer that is the commonest way people lose money paying merchants in stablecoins. Credit where it is due.
The part that undercuts it
The same page lists BUSD.
Paxos was ordered by the New York Department of Financial Services to stop issuing Binance USD in February 2023. Supply has been redeemed down ever since. It is not a coin anyone should be acquiring in order to spend, and a payment page maintained against reality would have removed it three years ago.
We have left it out of the record, as we do wherever a merchant lists it. But its presence changes how much weight the rest of the page can carry: if that entry has not been checked since 2023, the network details next to it may not have been either. That is why this record reads “payment availability may vary” despite documentation that would otherwise justify a verified badge.
What is not published
No registered company name. No jurisdiction. No business address. The about page gives a founding year of 2024 and names a founder; the contact route is an email address. The domain was registered in March 2024.
None of that is disqualifying — plenty of legitimate young companies look exactly like this, and Travorio does publish terms, a privacy policy, a contact page and an FAQ, which is more than some crypto travel sites manage at all. It is simply information you should have before deciding how much to spend.
The calculation is the familiar one from our flights guidance: a stablecoin payment is final, travel is bought months ahead of delivery, and the chargeback you are giving up is the protection that normally covers exactly this gap. For a cheap hotel night, fine. For a four-figure itinerary from a counterparty you cannot identify, use a card.
Alternatives in this directory
CryptoRefills covers stays with a wider coin list and is a fully identified Dutch company. Travala is the longest-established crypto travel platform here. Both are better-understood counterparties for anything expensive.

Crypto payment is confirmed, but the exact coin list is not fixed — it can depend on your country, the product, which checkout you reach, or which assets the merchant's payment gateway currently enables.
Travorio documents its accepted stablecoins on its own domain, by asset and network: "USDT (Tether) on Ethereum and Tron networks, USDC on Ethereum, Polygon, and Solana, DAI on Ethereum, and BUSD on Binance Smart Chain", and states that customers can "book flights and hotels with USDT, USDC, DAI & BUSD". We record USDT, USDC and DAI. BUSD is excluded: Paxos ceased issuing it in February 2023 under instruction from the New York Department of Financial Services, and publishing it as spendable would send readers after a token they should be redeeming. Its continued presence is also why this record is "may vary" rather than verified — a page carrying a three-year-dead stablecoin cannot be assumed current for the rest of its contents. No payment processor is named. On corporate identity: the about page gives a 2024 founding and a named founder but no registered entity, jurisdiction or address, and the domain dates from March 2024.
