Payment notes

Hero Bullion's payment-methods page says: "Hero Bullion now allows customers to buy precious metals with Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. We currently have an order maximum of $20,000 for crypto payments and offer a 2% discount. Hero Bullion uses BitPay to process cryptocurrency payments." The summary table on the same page gives "Crypto via BitPay — $.01 — $500,000 — 2%", which is a different maximum; we record both and suggest planning around the smaller one. The flow is BitPay's — choose "Crypto via BitPay", follow the on-screen instructions — and the coins and networks offered are whatever BitPay's checkout carries at the time, which as published includes USDC, USDT, DAI, PYUSD, USDP, GUSD and EURC across Ethereum, Base, Arbitrum, Optimism, Polygon and Solana. The 2% discount matches the dealer's cash-equivalent tiers (checks and wires get 4%), which tells you the crypto route is priced as a low-cost payment rather than a novelty. Shipping waits for confirmation and then takes one to three business days.

Refunds

Not documented for crypto specifically. Hero Bullion publishes an orders-and-returns policy and a market loss policy for cancelled orders; BitPay settles to the merchant in dollars, so any refund would be issued by the dealer rather than reversed on chain.

Stablecoin refunds are outbound payments a merchant chooses to send, not automatic reversals. There is no chargeback.

Limitations

• United States delivery only. The shipping policy states that international orders are not accepted.
• The coin and network list is BitPay's, not Hero Bullion's: the merchant names Bitcoin and "other cryptocurrencies" and nothing else.
• The crypto order maximum is stated twice and differently on the same page: $500,000 in the summary table, $20,000 in the paragraph. Assume the lower figure until you have confirmed.
• Orders ship only once the crypto payment is confirmed, "a few minutes to several hours", then within 1–3 business days.
