Two pieces of evidence, neither of them a coin list from the merchant. Triple-A's newsroom post of 19 August 2026, datelined Singapore, announces that Eskimo "has partnered with Triple-A ... to enable stablecoin payments when customers purchase its eSIM plans", and quotes Eskimo's chief executive on giving customers "another convenient way to purchase travel data". Eskimo's web checkout, read from the site's own interface text, offers "Cryptocurrencies" alongside cards, Alipay and WeChat Pay, and carries a full crypto payment flow — pending confirmation, success, failure, timeout, "Do not resend payment. Confirmation may take a few minutes." Triple-A's product page advertises acceptance of "USDC, USDT, Bitcoin, Ethereum" across "major blockchain networks" without enumerating them, which is why USDC and USDT are recorded as the gateway's list and no network is claimed. Expect a hosted Triple-A page with a QR code and a locked rate for a short window; Triple-A settles to the merchant in fiat next day, so Eskimo never holds your stablecoin.

An eSIM is close to the ideal stablecoin purchase: bought abroad, often before a local card works, small, digital, delivered in seconds. Eskimo is the first eSIM seller in this directory to take one, and the record is honest about how much of that rests on the gateway.

What is documented

Triple-A, the Singapore-licensed gateway, announced the partnership on 19 August 2026 and quoted Eskimo’s chief executive. Eskimo’s own checkout carries a “Cryptocurrencies” option with the full apparatus of a crypto payment — pending, confirmed, failed, timed out, “do not resend”. That is enough to say the option is real and live.

What is not documented is the coin list. Eskimo names no asset anywhere we could find, and Triple-A’s public material says USDC and USDT “across major blockchain networks” without listing the networks. So the record carries the gateway’s two stablecoins, an empty network field, and a “may vary” badge — the same treatment as Trip.com, where Triple-A is also reported to be the processor, except that here the provider has said so itself.

Paying

Expect a hosted Triple-A page: a QR code, a rate held for a few minutes, and the network shown on the invoice. Check that network before sending — with USDT in particular the same ticker lives on half a dozen chains and the wrong one is not recoverable. Triple-A converts to fiat and settles to the merchant next day, so the refund route, if one were ever needed, is Eskimo’s rather than a reversal on chain.

For mobile data on more coins and networks, the gift card platforms — Bitrefill, CryptoRefills — sell mobile top-ups from a longer menu of stablecoins and chains. AT&T is the other entry in the telecom category.

Crypto payment is confirmed, but the exact coin list is not fixed — it can depend on your country, the product, which checkout you reach, or which assets the merchant's payment gateway currently enables.

The provider's announcement is first-party on Triple-A's side and carries a direct quote from Eskimo's CEO, which is the merchant speaking, though not on its own domain. Eskimo's own site corroborates the route: its checkout interface strings include a "Cryptocurrencies" payment option and a complete crypto-payment status flow, which is configuration rather than a claim, and we treat it the way we treat Shopify's payment-icon strip — evidence that the option exists, not that the merchant has described it. Eskimo publishes no FAQ entry or help page about paying in crypto that we could find. The stablecoins are Triple-A's advertised acceptance list; the networks are unpublished by both and left empty. Company identity — Datapro Technologies Pte Ltd, 175 countries, non-expiring plans, one million travellers — is from Eskimo's site and the announcement's "About Eskimo" section. Status is "may vary" because the merchant names no asset. The announcement also carried a sign-up gift code valid to 30 November 2026; that is a promotion and is not recorded.
