AdGuard's own knowledge base is unambiguous: "We also accept the following cryptocurrencies: Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, and Tether." Tether is the only stablecoin, and the absence of USDC is worth noting — most vendors selling into Europe have moved the other way under MiCA, so this is the rare case where holding USDT is the advantage rather than the obstacle. Two things the merchant does tell you and most do not. First, the payment page itself warns that "Licences purchased with cryptocurrency are not auto-renewed", and recommends buying a longer term for that reason — so treat a crypto purchase as a one-off you will need to repeat. Second, the 30-day money-back guarantee carries no crypto carve-out, which puts AdGuard on the better side of a line that PureVPN and SEAGM fall on the wrong side of. What is missing is the network. Nothing on the site says which chain Tether should arrive on, and no payment provider is named, so read the chain off the payment screen rather than assuming Tron.

Stablecoin refunds are outbound payments a merchant chooses to send, not automatic reversals. There is no chargeback.
AdGuard blocks ads and trackers across every platform it ships on, and sells the licences directly rather than only through app stores. Cryptocurrency is one of the payment methods, and the coin list is short and specific.
Tether, and only Tether

That makes AdGuard one of the few merchants in this directory where USDT works and USDC does not. The usual pattern in Europe runs the other way — under MiCA, gateways withdrew Tether for EU-established merchants and pushed everyone to USD Coin, which is the story behind Cherry Servers’ forced migration and the wider USDC lead. AdGuard is the exception, so if you have been carrying USDT around waiting for somewhere to spend it, this is somewhere.
The renewal catch, which AdGuard tells you about
The payment page carries this warning before you pay:
Licences purchased with cryptocurrency are not auto-renewed. We recommend choosing a longer license term so you don’t have to extend it too often.
That is a real constraint and a genuinely helpful disclosure. A crypto purchase is a one-off: when the term ends, nothing renews, and you buy again using the same email address to keep the licence attached to your account. AdGuard’s advice — buy the longer term — is the right advice, and it also amortises the network fee you pay to send, which does not scale with the amount. See stablecoin payment fees.
The refund position is the good one
AdGuard offers a 30-day money-back guarantee and publishes no exclusion for crypto payments.
That is worth calling out, because the opposite is more common. PureVPN excludes crypto from its 31-day guarantee. SEAGM states flatly that there are no refund options on cryptocurrency payments. AdGuard simply does not draw that distinction, which means the guarantee you are reading is the guarantee you get.

What is not documented
The network. Nothing on AdGuard’s site says which chain to send Tether on, and no payment processor is named, so we record no network rather than guess at Tron. This is the single most common gap in the whole directory — the Spend Index quantifies how common — and it is the one that costs people money, because USDT sent to the wrong chain is gone.
Read the chain off the payment screen. Do not assume.

Confirmed from two AdGuard-published pages. The knowledge base article on payment options states: "You can pay with Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal, Alipay and UnionPay. We also accept the following cryptocurrencies: Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, and Tether." The licence purchase page independently confirms the crypto route and adds the constraint that "Licences purchased with cryptocurrency are not auto-renewed", and its FAQ states the 30-day money-back guarantee with no payment-method exclusion. AdGuard's own VPN blog post of 13 October 2022 announcing crypto support names the same four assets, which is why we record the VPN product under the same acceptance. Two fields are left empty deliberately. No settlement network is named anywhere, so `networks` is empty rather than filled with a guess; and no payment processor is named, so no provider is recorded. AdGuard also describes crypto payments as anonymous and says it "cannot link your license with your payment credentials" — we record the operative consequence, which is the manual renewal, and not the privacy claim, which we have no way to check.
