Payment notes
HOSTKEY's payment-terms page says: "We accept P2P cryptocurrency payments through BitPay from any wallet, app, or exchange," and lists the supported currencies as Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, Litecoin, Dogecoin, Ethereum, Wrapped Bitcoin, Shiba Inu and "Stablecoins: USDC, USDT, DAI, GUSD, USDP, BUSD." Then: "Note: ERC-20 tokens are only accepted on the Ethereum (ETH) network." The steps are BitPay's — select BitPay at checkout, choose the currency, scan the QR code or copy the address and amount, send the exact amount, and give a valid email address "used for refunds if any payment issues arise". Funds land as account credit, spendable on any service or refundable via the original method. BUSD is on the page but not in this record: Paxos stopped issuing it in February 2023, and its presence is a sign the list has not been trimmed rather than that it can be used. The Ethereum-only note means you will pay mainnet gas on a server bill; for a monthly dedicated server that is a rounding error, for a small VPS it is worth noticing.

Stablecoin refunds are outbound payments a merchant chooses to send, not automatic reversals. There is no chargeback.
BitPay merchants usually inherit BitPay’s whole network list in this directory, because the merchant says nothing and the gateway says six. HOSTKEY said something, and it was narrower.
One sentence, one network
“ERC-20 tokens are only accepted on the Ethereum (ETH) network.” That rules out USDC on Base, Polygon, Arbitrum and Optimism, and it rules out Solana, even though BitPay’s checkout offers all of them to merchants who enable them. Whether HOSTKEY has switched the other networks off in BitPay or is simply describing what it has tested, the customer-facing statement is Ethereum only, and that is what a customer should plan for.
The practical cost is mainnet gas on a server invoice. For a dedicated machine billed monthly it does not matter; for a small VPS it is a few percent, and a card might be cheaper.
The coin list
Five stablecoins this directory tracks — USDC, USDT, DAI, GUSD, USDP — plus BUSD, which has not been issued since early 2023 and is recorded here as a sign of an untrimmed page rather than an option. Vultr’s BitPay page has the same fossil.
How it works
Prepaid, like the rest of the hosting category. Pay through BitPay, the balance lands on your account, spend it on anything HOSTKEY sells or ask for it back through the original method. BitPay may ask you to verify your identity above its thresholds — HOSTKEY flags this, which few merchants do. Refunds for unused time follow the published policy; licences, domains, certificates and admin fees are excluded.

An editor confirmed these payment options against the sources listed below.
HOSTKEY's own "Payment terms and methods" page names BitPay, lists the stablecoins, restricts ERC-20 tokens to Ethereum mainnet, notes the possible BitPay ID requirement and sets out the credit-balance and refund rules. That is merchant documentation naming coin and network, and it carries a verified status without a live payment, which we did not make. BitPay's published list is cited for the checkout mechanics only; where the merchant's network statement is narrower than the gateway's capability, the merchant's statement governs, which is why this BitPay merchant lists one network where others list six. BUSD is excluded for the reason given in the payment notes. Data-centre locations are from HOSTKEY's about page; the company does not state a head-office country on the pages we read and none is asserted.
