A dash means we found no evidence of support, not that support is impossible. Coin availability at checkout can differ by country and product.
HostSailor's own payment page says it accepts "Bitcoin, XRP, Ether, Litecoin, and 50+ other altcoins" through CoinGate and points at CoinGate's site for the full list. It names no stablecoin itself. CoinGate's own merchant documentation lists HostSailor among the businesses accepting USDC, which is why USDC appears here and nothing else does. Do not expect USDT: CoinGate stopped processing Tether for EU merchants under MiCA, and HostSailor is registered in Romania — the same change that forced [Cherry Servers](/merchants/cherry-servers/) to drop it. USDC is available on several networks through CoinGate; pick whichever the checkout offers most cheaply.
HostSailor operates a limited refund window on some products. Crypto payments are not automatically reversible; agree refund handling with support before paying.
Stablecoin refunds are outbound payments a merchant chooses to send, not automatic reversals. There is no chargeback.
HostSailor is an offshore host in the same broad category as AlexHost — Romanian and Dutch infrastructure, a permissive stance on content complaints, and a customer base that values not routing payments through a card network.
HostSailor’s payment page takes the common approach: name the gateway, quote a round number of supported coins, link out. “Bitcoin, XRP, Ether, Litecoin, and 50+ other altcoins.”
That is honest as far as it goes, and it is also why this record says “payment availability may vary” rather than “verified”. The list is CoinGate’s, CoinGate revises it, and HostSailor finds out at the same time its customers do.
We know USDC is on it because CoinGate itself names HostSailor in its own documentation of USDC-accepting merchants. That is processor documentation rather than merchant documentation — a step down the evidence ladder, but a real primary source about the processor’s own integration.
CoinGate stopped processing Tether for EU-established merchants when MiCA’s stablecoin rules bit, because Tether did not obtain the required e-money authorisation. HostSailor is registered in Romania. That puts it on the wrong side of the line.
This is not a HostSailor policy and there is nothing they can do about it. It is the single most useful thing to know before you try to pay a European hosting bill in Tether, and it applies across a large fraction of the EU hosting market — Cherry Servers documented the same change and set a hard cutoff.
Bring USDC.
Which network. CoinGate supports USDC on Ethereum, Base, Polygon, Solana, BNB Chain, Arbitrum and Optimism, and HostSailor states nothing, so the field is empty here rather than filled with the most likely answer. The checkout will tell you; a layer 2 will be dramatically cheaper than Ethereum mainnet for a hosting invoice.
Crypto payment is confirmed, but the exact coin list is not fixed — it can depend on your country, the product, which checkout you reach, or which assets the merchant's payment gateway currently enables.
Two sources, neither complete on its own. HostSailor's own payment-methods page confirms crypto acceptance and names CoinGate as the gateway, but deliberately defers the asset list to CoinGate rather than publishing one. CoinGate's own merchant documentation names HostSailor among the businesses accepting USDC. We therefore record USDC and nothing else, and mark the status "may vary" because the merchant has explicitly delegated the coin list to a third party that revises it — as it did when it withdrew USDT from EU merchants. No network is claimed: CoinGate supports USDC on several chains and HostSailor states none.
Payment availability can change without notice. Always confirm at HostSailor’s own checkout before paying. Spotted something wrong?

Dated history for this record. We log only changes we can evidence, so an entry here reflects something that actually moved — not routine re-checking. The full feed across every merchant is on What’s Changed .
